APEX-CUTE, developed by Texas A&M AgriLife Research, is a companion tool for the Agricultural Policy/Environmental eXtender (APEX) model that streamlines calibration, validation, sensitivity analysis, and uncertainty assessment. It provides a guided workflow to import observations, define parameter ranges, manage scenarios, and run iterative simulations, helping users identify robust parameter sets more efficiently. The software assembles results across sites, variables, and time steps, and summarizes model performance with standard goodness-of-fit statistics, clear visualizations, and concise reports. By automating batch runs and documenting configuration choices, APEX-CUTE enhances transparency and reproducibility in modeling studies.

Designed for researchers, consultants, and resource managers, APEX-CUTE supports applications from field-scale management evaluations to watershed assessments. It helps quantify confidence in simulated hydrology, sediment, nutrients, crop growth, and other APEX outputs, making it easier to compare alternatives and communicate uncertainty. Used alongside the APEX model, APEX-CUTE shortens the path from raw data to defensible scenarios and strengthens the technical basis for conservation planning, environmental compliance, and policy analysis.

APEX-CUTE is developed by Texas A&M AgriLife Research and is used by 1 user of Software Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 4.2, 4.4, 5.1, 7.0 and 7.4. The names of program executable files are APEX-CUTE.exe, apexcal.exe.
